I got a nice shot of Union station the other day and have been playing around with PS CS. (Say that three times fast)
So far, I have three versions of the shot. I'd be interested in feedback if folks are willing.
Light post- little on the cool side I think
Total accident. :) Had no clue what I was doing.
Playing with layers and burning (channeling my inner heida. I think this one has some potential for dramatic impact if I can get the technique better.)
I appreciate any feedback!

I personally like the 2nd one the best. Something about the colors of the sky really appeal to me. Great shot!

Very nice shot blemt. The second seems to have a little sharper detail in the statues, that would be my choice; sky is cool in all three. |

THe funny thing is that the first one is pretty close to the way it was when I was shooting. :) I like the way it looks like the day was overcast in the last 2. Any other suggestions?

I really like the dramatic skies in the last two - especially the second one. But the monument starts to get pretty dark in those and maybe starts to lose out a little.
I would be very interested in seeing a version of the middle one that had a lighter monument, not as light as #1 maybe, but somewhere in between?
Either way they are very good shots. |
