Go to Portfolio, and upload the file. After it is uploaded, you will be able to click on the thumbnail (from within the "My Portfolio" area, not from the "Recent Portfolio Additions" on your Profile page) and be presented with various options. You'll be able to name the photo, enter details, and add it to up to two galleries via the Site Galleries dropdown menus. Also, if you want to make Collections within your Portfolio, you can create a new one from within the main My Portfolio area, and then move photos into that Collection with the icons on the bottom of the screen.
