If anybody is interested in purchasing my almost new (mint condition) EF 75-300 f/4-5.6 IS USM lens shout now as its going on Ebay tomorrow. Comes with a Hoya Skylight (b) filter that has never been of the lens.

The best deal I can get Neil :) I got it from 7 day shop about 3 months ago, they now sell it for £299. I'd sooner go for a firm offer here than maybe making a couple of pounds more on Ebay (or not selling there). Feel free to PM me with an offer (you can only offend me ;)

What are you replacing it with? 70-200 f/2.8?

Unfortunatley funds don't run to the 2.8 its the f4 :)

Took 10 hours from purchase from New Jersey to Stanstead and its been there 11 hours (found a new update button :) expected in my hands by noon Monday.

Well, the new lens made its way up to Norfolk :) then all the way back to London, tracking said 'Incorrect address' rather strange as they never made it to my door.

A quick call to fedex and the driver is now armed with my telephone number just in case he finds another house with the same address as me!

Anyway, the 75-300 is now on Ebay, there are 8 watchers so will hopefully see a bidding war next weekend.

Well, s**t happens and this mornings fedex update showed another 'incorrect address' delivery attempt. Back on the phone and it turns out the lens spent 2 days less than 2 miles from me! and the updated address was not passed on to the local peeps. I rang the local peeps and they delivered withing 30 mins of the call

Woohoo its stuck on the end of my cam and looks goood :)

This is the second pic taken with it, no editing other than resising for dpc. I'm going to love this lens.
