Lens: Sigma 70-210mm f/4-5.6 APO-Manual Focus f/Pentax,
Corresponding: AF Mount: Sigma, Canon, Minolta, Nikon(D) and Pentax
does this lens work for canon digital rebel or just pentax????... if it does...is it any good?.. found a discounted price |

I am far from an expert on Pentax mounts but if this is an old "M42" lens it might be made to physically mount using an M42 to EOS adapter (I use one on my Peleng 8mm fisheye, they cost about $20). But you might have problems with mirror interference, and there is really no way to know for sure without having the lens and adapter both in hand.
the lesson in this is that if you don't have independent information that the combination you are considering has been done before, there is significant risk.
I wouldn't go the trouble & risk for so little savings. |

Nope, any lens that you need an adapter for needs to be capable of complete manual control, focus and aperture. The Peleng has no electronics, it is strictly a manual lens. Of course you rarely have to focus with an 8mm fisheye, the hyperfocal distance is about 2 feet @ f/3.5 and about 6.5 inches @ f/16! |
