Hmmm... something familiar about that face. Maybe I'd recognize her sitting on a pile of blue, red & yellow ribbons- with a black camera over one eye. Try burning in the background.

If your aim was a shot of a girl that looks both inviting and dangerous, You got it, hands down.

I see you whitewashed the background behind her head and shoulders.. but you forgot to do under her arm! :)

Good one, Arty, I'd noticed her hair hanging down in that spot, but I totally missed the tile pattern of the wall behind her.

Great expression and lighting. The diagonal pose is dynamic. Your model has a good eye. ;-) |

this is a quote from some old war photographer!

i wasn't saying the photo looks unprofessional - but if you didn't know the client - then... from my experience

I'm just wondering what the intent for this photo is, if it's a head shot, we should see the top of the head, if it's a glamour shot...well then we should have some level of spot editing on the face...
it's all about where this shot is "going".

Didn't want to comment on the first pic as I wasn't super-impressed...but the second crop is a million times better! The only thing is it looks like she's trying to fit into the frame, the way her neck is bent! |

Tasteless (I just ate a bland cracker- blech!). ;-)
I liked the first shot, but the second crop is much better indeed. The pose is fitting as the Baroness of Burn looks like she's intentionally trying to squeeze into the frame. |
