I had a number of commenters ask if I had tried a B&W conversion of my submission. Here is a sepia version:

versus what I submitted:

In retrospect, I think I should have gone with the sepia one. Comments?

David,
I think the sepia enhances this image a great deal. It shifts the focus to the curves in her stance and seems to even out the light to produce more even tones across her form. To me it depersonalizes the image, which I think also shifts the attention to the form. I didn't vote on this challenge but did have a look through and there was something subtly haunting about this image which I couldn't quite explain. I think the sepia tone finishes it off perfectly.

Kieran.

I think that 5.7 is a respectful score. The people on this website are very wishy-washy so your score could have gone up or suffered with the sepia tone added. You just never know.
