I like the second one. The first I would crop to get rid of the non-related stuff. Sorta like this:

| I disagree about the crop -- I think your view gives a good sense of space. I would clone out the white tag in the background, though. |

I was thinking the same thing.
Great pics. Did you get any close ups/macro? I think something like this would look great. .Especially if you could get a mix of dof shots

No, they were taken in the experimental garden at the Missouri Botanical Garden here in St. Louis. |

The second picture is a macro (I think I need and additional close-up lens). There are more of these at my webpage if you would like to see them. |

I like both images and crops. Very nice! Great colors. My first thought was Christmas lights, too. :-)
