This was going to be my entry for the Neon challenge:

but second-guessing myself, I changed to my actual entry:

a few minutes before the submission deadline.

I'm curious to know what people think of my original concept for this challenge; the photo I ended up submitting was from some shots I took "playing around" with the glow necklaces when I was done...

I like your outtake, especially because you managed to nab image # 100K with it!

Hmmm... I think I would have preferred your outtake. It fires the imagination more than your submission did (for me, at least).

I hate to fuel the second guessing, but I like the out-take better.

i liked the original entry (left you a comment, actually), but i REALLY like the out-take. it has a lot of character, and is something completely original that wasn't seen in the challenge... i have to concur, i would have rated it higher on originality and execution. but, hey, bygones. :) they're both great.

I think I like the outtake better as well. The hat makes the pic. However the one you submitted is a nice abstract, and seems more "neon", so you probably picked the right one.

I like the outtake better, too. Great shot. It's better (to me) because it has more form, and whereas the Neon challenge was full of chaotic entries, this one has some organization to it.
