I appreciate it guys!!! I am actually working on a site, and have been for quite some time. Its a small community here, and I have been swamped just by word of mouth. But I will have one up and going here soon! My first year running my own studio, and I have been kinda overwealmed. But I guess thats a good thing! This DPC is a release from those stresses! Best of luck to you both. You are very talented!

Sorry eric. I do probably about 15-30 weddings a year. Not too many, just enough from my POV. I am the one that has to retouch em!Hehehe!

I did get a shot off today! Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on how you look at it), it was my entry for the "framing" challenge.. so I can't very well show it off here. Too bad.

Didn't manage to do any other photography today either, and going out right now with the express purpose of taking a picture simply to post to this thread seems a little.. oh.. I dunno.. silly :)

Aww... how about yesterday? (cross-posted)

Anyone want to try and guess where/how I took this? (Is that actually an eagle?)

That looks like the dilapidated(sp) end of an old Ferry terminal crossing or dock.. so I imagine you were standing at the terminal or edge of the dock.. using some form of zoom lens?
I'm probably way off

Wait! I've looked at the picture closer.. that looks like a picture of a subject on a television set or computer monitor...

Your first guess is closer : )

I also meant what part of the country ... I just recently returned from visiting my dad up near Tacoma, Washington. It was taken "somewhere" between there and Oakland, California. : )

Well heck.. that could be *anywhere*..
Newport, OR?

The bird is an Osprey, but they are a world wide species. So anyone's guess is better than mine where, but I'd guess from the windows of Mo's in Newport, Oregon..

Here's where I was yesterday:

We did see a bald eagle for sure somewhere in southern Oregon on the way up. This was shot near Martinez, California, from the (moving) train as it follows the waterfront between the Benicia and Carquinez bridges towards Pinole and Richmond.

It is a much longer zoom than I'm used to having.

Osprey is good too : )
