My Helpful Comments Count is Wrong?

Just noticed that my helpful comment count as listed on my profile page is 44, but when you click through it to actually look at the list the number is 42. I haven't made any comments in any current challenges.

Maybe someone removed their picture or a possibly DQ.

is that normal? if you comment on a dq, when it gets removed and your comment disappears, your counter doesn't change?

I am just making a guess ... I think that the extra two are comments that you have made in challenges still being voted on (Nude II and Hope) that have already been checked as useful. I have noticed the same thing.

It may be, as someone mentioned earlier, the result of a photo being removed after a comment was marked helpful. There is an easy way to find out.

BikeRacer, go to this photo and make a comment. I will mark it helpful and then delete it. If you count goes up by one, we have an answer...

Got it and marked it. However, it just occured to me. We may have to wait until the stats are re-computed before I delete the photo.

And then wait again to see if deleting it had any effect.

URGH!!! I am so confused!!!!

Ok, my helpful comments are now 45, and after you deleted, the actual number seen when clicking through is back to 42 from 43. So, it seems like the main profile page counter is working somewhat independently from the profile comments page.
