I just had nothing to do.
and went to the grocery store
to buy this pepper and started
playing with the lighting shooting to it.

What is the vertical line in the background?
It's a really nice shot, I'm not sure that the line works though.

I agree with Kavey on the vertical line.
Where borders generally don't sit well, in my
opinion, it accents the contrast in this shot.
(May be a bit wide, but that's my opinion)
My recommendation? Clone out the stripe, and
you will have a great shot!
