The same thing has happened to me in the last day and a half. I have gone from a 6.60, and am now close to a 6.39.

At least you guys aren't at 4.6 something....some folks just don't see any artistic appeal to my compostion....only 3 did so far...I should have shot a damn flower or submitted my photo of a leaf in macro....NOOOOO, I had to be oringinal....I guess it deserves the 4.6.....However, I love it!!!!!! And I don't give a crap.....there is nothing wrong with my photo technically, if so, comments would pour in with such...again, it must be artistically challenged to others....

Note: Artistically, isn't meaning of using of any PS Filters or such. An artist approach to view life.

I have to quote the following:

"Conversation
Setzler: i have a theory about photographers
Koriyama: go on...
Setzler: photographers forget how to look at photographs
ClubJuggle (to Setzler): Now that you say it, I think that's true.
Setzler: when we look at photos, we are guilty of critique rather than seeing what the photographer wants us to see
ClubJuggle: *true
ClubJuggle: I think we get too caught up in the technicals that we forget about the aesthetics and about letting the photograph talk to us.

I think this might be just what I need to break out of this rut I've been in. Thanks jmsetzler for reminding me of this.

Note to everyone: Next time I'm in a photographic rut point me at this post."

Something to think about.......and true...

Sometimes it's just a matter of timing. I didn't get any really good botany pictures that week because of crummy weather. Here is a shot taken last Wednesday which I know would have done better than the one which I did submit.
