Hi
The first one is better as far as post editing is concerned, the bottom two are a little flat, try adjusting the levels, curves, shadows highlights etc. The middle one definately needs to have to blossom brought out.

Thanks Chez. Is there an easy way to do the shadows/highlights? Have just been trying to figure it out :( unsuccessfully!

I use photoshop CS 8 which has a tool in it for that, but if not you can use the levels, curves, selective color (Neutrals) and the channel mixer, it really is a question of playing around with the tools you have. With the one in the middle bring the right hand side of the levels to where the data starts.

Can't seem to get the bloom a brighter more vibrant colour w/out turning the green fronds of the fern into putrid green! |

You don't have to be DPC-legal. Try using selections or simply dodging and burning :)

Hey Sue, love the flower pics. Your 2nd attempt on the mini iris worked wonders. Keep it up!
