Some great pics there Siggi(my favourite is 176) and what a result !!!!
Glad it`s Italy and not Iceland in Scotlands World cup section...although, the state we`re in at the moment, it wouldn`t matter who we played :(

I`ve been involved in taking some pics of under19 games for my clubs website (Falkirk fc, Scottish first div)and also a spread of our new stadium for the centre pages of the club programme.

Did you use continuous shooting mode for the action pics?

No, I had the camera in full manual mode to have it fast as possible, then I just tried to predict the action a bit.

That`s the set up I used as well but it can be a bit of a lottery trying to capture what you want from the action..I`ve never tried continuous shooting..thought maybe you had.

I sometimes use continuous shooting then I like the mode better where you get the last 5 pictures after you stop pressing. But I did not use it now.

If you want to see more photos from that game, just click here :)

I still can't believe that Iceland won 2 - 0, I would love to see the Italian press, and understand it.

It would be simular if Iceland would lose in soccer against the eskimos in Greenland :S

I`m obviously going to have to do a bit of experimenting with it.
Thanks Siggi

Is that bee doing the "bicycle kick" Pele?

I think the bee was trying to trick me from killing it by playing dead.
