Here's the thing...

Ok, has anyone ever tried one of these (or something similar), or have any caveats, suggestions, etc regarding them?

I have a Powershot S50 - it takes great photos (IT does, I don't), is versitile, and unlike a DSLR, is easily portable. I just would like to add filters, fish-eye lenses, etc to it on occasion. So would this type of adapter be a good option?

Thanks in advance for any info...

yes that adapter will be good, I dont have experience with that one, but one of my old cameras I had to use an adapter to be able to use filters and add on lenses. Plus if you leave it on, it can help protect your lens from damage.

Get it. Use it.

The S50 is a great little camera.
