This feet photo was a lot of fun and learnt a lot from it. I was hoping for a much better score than it got. The comments were pretty good and started with a 10. So what happened? Be honest please.

| I think there is too much going on. You don't notice the feet until you start looking for them. |

It's very well done Bob. I like it. I guess it's alittle out there for this site. Don't let the scores discourage you because you obviously have an untapped talent. Just keep pluggin' away :)

At least they didn't say you had scaly feet like one person said about my wifes'shot. (my feet arn't scaly, they just had a hard life lol)

The overall effect was a little too 'busy' for my taste, sorry.
I think technically it is pretty good and I am sure that you will do well in subsequent entries...

This seems to be a recuring problem with me, busy photos. I don't know how to get away from it, I'm suffering the same fate with Botany. Oh well.

there are feet all over the picture! lol
duck feet, ruler feet and human feet...
it should definetely have done better imo.
the human feet are slightly overexposed and the duck feet a bit dark making the focus more on them than on the human feet, maybe an equal 'balance' or a shift in balance more to the human feet would have scored higher. But creatively done and very original.

I think you should try concentrating on focusing on the main subject - it helps to have a clear subject. If you can make the viewer's eye focus on one particular thing or area of the picture without having to look around thinking what exactly is this about, then they would not see it as crowded or total chaos even if there are a hundred different things in the picture. It's about how you see it first and what you want to show and then how successful you are in capturing it. |

Thanks Xion, I'll have to consider my subject more and temper my desire to get more in.
