Same problem here. Got a new LCD a few weeks ago and my two blacks are the same. Usually my two whites blend together, too, but right now I can see them on the gradient above. The LCD takes some getting use to (for me anyway) because every time you shift (sit straighter, slouch, move to the side) the screen changes...

my both monitors are calibrated ok here....

This is a NEW LCD you bought? You bought a passive matrix LCD, then. An active matrix LCD doesn't do this. You have to sit in the exact postion that you calibrated it from, when you vote or edit, or you will have little differences. |

Yes, it's new. I just looked up active and passive matrix because I didn't know what they meant. I'm still not sure it's passive...the colors are very good and it doesn't seem slow like the glossary explained. What do you think...?
