Wow. So many great photos in this one! Have just got back from a holiday so I couldn't enter into this but there are some amazing photos in here! Trying to comment on all of them but can't think of things to say!

I was feeling good, but now a dq request, I honestly didnt dodge, burn or spot edit..oh well, hopefully my photo doesnt get dq'd, Im running for a personal best. Wish me luck. |

| I was just replying to my comments. I have 30 comments so far and all the ones' that left their score were above 7, then I get one comment that they took ages "to get it" and didn't like this and didn't like that and gave me a 3. I suppose it's just even things out lol..... |

How nice of them! If it meets the challenge you should never get a 3 unless its a terrible photo. :-P to them!

I'm Ok at the moment could be better but I'm starting to get used to the lower ACTUAL score Vs my EXPECTED score.

Oh well Bob, maybe after they enter more than 1 challenge they will understand that if the focus is good, the photo meets the challenge and it is technically ok, it might just be worth a 3.5 or more.......lol

Reality is as long as they vote on every photo, use the same criteria on every photo it should not make any difference.

I guess it just goes to show that it's hard to be your own critic. What you think is good isn't always good to others.
Or maybe it's just a bad photo?

Im not doing well at all; wish I could say I was. My average vote is 4.7491 but Im not complaining. This is my first challenge and I did several things wrong with my photograph. But with so many good photographers here and the helpful comments it will not be long before I begin averaging the best scores possible with the ability of my current camera. |
