Why did it go from Fairy Tales to Neon. I thought the Fairy tales would be more interesing and require more creativity. Was it some mistake?

I saw both Fairy Tales and Neon posted together....just noticed fairy tales was gone

Dang! I just suggested Fairy Tales last week. Now how am I supposed to get neon onto that dragon?

I already had a Fairy Tale shot pick out :( I guess it will come later.

Does the SC have an explanation?

It was a scheduling error that was corrected as soon as the admins saw it (which was at 12:10am ET, so it was only visible for a very short time). Simple as that.

Which would indicate that you should hold onto those ideas for fairy tale since your wishes might come true quite soon.

Or maybe sometime next year...

I just noticed this right now. I sat down for an hour last night sketching out fairy tale ideas. Even have a friend bringing over fairy tale books tonight. All I have to say is, booooooo.

I do believe in fairies! I do! I DO!

[Sorry - watched the new Peter Pan movie with my son and I can't help myself. But I've noticed the oddest thing... you can't stay in a bad mood when you say that. Try it!]

I live in the SF Bay Area so I do believe in fairies, I do, I do.

I don't think so. =] I was just trying to imply that there is no guarantee that this particular challenge will be back soon; it could go back in to the (large) pool of potential challenge entries and not be seen for a while. Only Drew & Langdon know for sure, as they are the only one's who are involved in actually scheduling challenges.

fairy tales would of been another one of those rare great challenges that stimulates creativity. Too bad. Neon sucks!

Could you please re-set the fairy tale challenge date during Gay Pride Week? It would be like going to Vegas during the neon challenge.

Now that I read this thread again, even if it was a scheduling error, why would it be "corrected"? Seems like "correcting" a challenge would cause more problems than just letting it run. Cat being out of the bag and all. Not trying to get the challenge reinstated rather just a comment for the future.

Having two open challenges in a week was probably something they didnt want to do hence why they created it. A few months back we were getting double challenges posted for a while and thankfully it was fixed. And also, fairy tales just begs to be an advanced editing challenge!

The problem is not that the wrong challenge was scheduled, but that two challenges were scheduled. The extra challenge was removed.

Hmmmm... never saw two open challenges posted. Only saw the one. The neon was a complete surprise to me.
