One thing I learned yesterday that I didnt know is that Canon was first named Kwanon wich is the Buddhistic Goddess of Mercy....

Think that makes me even more in Love with Canon:p

As a curious linguistic note, the Latin phrase sine qua non is pronounced the same, and refers to something's essential nature, a rather Buddhist concept (to me, anyway). They even spell it out phonetically the same way.
