" Take a picture that has feet in it. Be creative and original "

Doesn't say " Take photo of a bare feet " !

Haven't you learned that not doing the obvious and trying to be created are bad things yet?

I tried being creative with my feet pic and my score is stinking worse then the feet I used :(

Mine was a very creative take on the challenge (a very bad thing). I think that I've actually managed to rise to a 5 now though.

Sigh. I'm living my Link here Week in the life of a DCPer.
Great comment 10 and the "POW" Batman style down below 5...

Some people forget the "Be creative and original" part.

Most voters DO appreciate creativity. Sticking to the obvious is not a very effective way to stand out. A low score doesn't automatically mean that an idea wasn't good. Maybe it wasn't executed as well as it could have been, or it wasn't appealing, or the challenge connection wasn't clear.

Many of the ribbon winners are very creative, and have a clear concept behind them. I think it's important to keep it simple if you're going to get creative. Look at the creative approaches of kiwiness... he only includes the elements necessary to communicate the concept. Everything else is clutter, and you'll never see it in his photos. Keep trying!
