Anyone use this lens? How does it compare to the EF 17-40mm 4L USM lens?
Its next on my list, and just trying to do some research =) Also if anyone has photos, please share!

Every review I've ever seen the 17-40 wins hands down. |

I have the lens, it's a pretty good alternative in my opinion to the Canon 17-40mm L. I'm not referring to the old 17-35mm EX. I'm talking about the new DG version of it. The older lens wasn't very great. Similar to the Tamron 17-35mm Di, slightly less sharp but build quality and focusing ability is much better with HSM.
There's not a lot of people with this lens as it seems, probably because of the older 17-35mm and the confusion the new DG designation has caused, but try it out if you get a chance.

ive been looking for reviews and cant find any :(
I should just stick with the canon lenses
