Saw this SunPak FP-38 Flat Panel Flash, and was wondering if anyone has or has tried one? Looks interesting and not too terribly expensive, especially since it can be used as a slave unit also. Anyone?
there are larger ones also available.

They look kinda cool and I'm curious about how they work, too. I already have a 550EX but these just look cool. :)

They look nice to me, too. I saw some like them on eBay at well. It looks like no one here has tried them out before.

Haven't used one and don't know too much about them. They should work nicely as a fill flash from moderately close distances. If you are looking for a general purpose flash, I would probably stay away from it as the guide number is only 36. Speaking of Sunpak, I have a Sunpak 555 and I like it lots. |
