I think the flamingo is my favorite!
Wow! How cool to see photos from the Albuquerque Zoo!
I used to know that zoo like the back of my hand. My dad worked for Digital Equipment Corp. when we lived there from 1977-1979. His group volunteered to build the new (at that time there wasn't one!) penguin habitat. We spent many days there going around the zoo while he worked on the contruction. We have home movies of him and the group in Tuxedo's and Tails welcoming the new penguins to the exhibit on a red carpet!! Is it still there, or have they redone it again?

Wow Karen. The Zoo has changed so much. It seems it is the one thing tha politicians seem to want to put money into. It is if I must say so myself one of the best zoos in the country. Your dad started quite a legacy!!!!!!!!!!

Enjoyed looking at your pictures. I liked the flamigo best, too. It really looks nice, the ripples in the water are great.
The gorilla and eagle are also very nice.
ABQ isn't too far from us - a 3 hr. drive. Someday we'll have to go to the zoo while we're there.

Thank you, Damon! Next time we go down I'll send you a private message beforehand. My husband is frequently in ABQ to catch planes to various places for business. I don't get there as often but I do love to shop! We've never been to the zoo there - our grandchildren would love it.
Your pictures are lovely, too - the palm pattern photo sets such an interesting mood. Whatever it is in the Modern Urbano might even be usable in Vanishing point - if you were down on the ground looking up at the pipes. So far, I've found nothing but roads and tracks around here - it's very rural here.

Wow. Those are great! The trumpet-vine is amazing. The composition and focus on all of them are exceptional.
