Yes, assuming that we all knew what kind of shot would appear in an art gallery's exhibition on "Feet". I assume that the people running the exhibition would cull half or more of our entries. Here at dpc everybody gets in, gets judged, gets critiqued, and has a chance to learn.
Part of what makes dpc so distince is the assignment to capture the surprise topic, or technique, in a limited time frame. If the challenge always was to capture a gallery type image, or to capture something evocative each week, the learning available here would be much more limited. |
