Not wanting to hijack Neuferland's thread I'm starting another on county fairs. Maybe people could list here what they entered and what won this year.
I entered two county fairs this year. The first one, Alameda County, CA, I had two accepted for exhibition but didn't win any ribbons. However, somebody liked one of them enough to purchase it! Very pleased about that. The second fair, San Mateo County, CA, I just received word that I received a 3rd place. So I have a nice ribbon and small cash prize to look forward to.
If you're interested in seeing the photo a slightly modified version of this one was purchased at the Alameda County Fair. It was printed 8x12 on luster.
The 3rd Place photo at San Mateo was printed 12x18 also on luster. |
