Wow, those pics are huge. I'm on cable, and still d/l'ing the first. I'm from Oregon though, so I'll comment once I look.

O buddy, you need to size those photos for the web or no one is going to look at them. I am on dsl and still downloading a single photo

Wave.jpg Size of file 2280.37 KB

Need to make these smaller, in 2 ways.
1. Make the longest side no more than 1000 pixels. 800 or less would be better. That way you don't have to scroll so much to see the image.
2. Save for web to get the file size down so they load quicker.

Were these taken in Black & White? Of the 3 I looked at, the pictures looked OK, but looked like they would benifit from some color.

Looked at a few more. I really like Bridge2
Are those cropped to create the panorama, or from multiple images? I still think most would be better in color.

hmmm, slow site? Photos seem to be small but taking forever to load and I am on a very fast connection right now.

dcano - What do you mean?
bmatt - They're cropped.

And yes, the site is slow. It's my other computer.

even though they are cropped, they are not resized. can you make them 640 pixels like DPC or at least 800 max?

Your server is way too slow to be waiting for these to download, and I am on cable. They seem to be 200 to 300 kb, but they take a minute or two to download

I threw them on my server, //www.brianstanback.com/tmp/, however, some of the shots seem to either be oddly cropped or not uploaded/downloaded correctly. Maybe you could just upload em to your Workshop area on DPC? :-\

Much better.

Waterfall2 looks like it was taken from the low bridge at multnomah falls. I think everyone who goes there takes the same shot. Here's the one I took of the same place.
