		| | Looking through some of my older shots, I stumbled across this one taken during the DoF challenge. Too bad it's a couple of months old..

What do you think, would it have done well on the Macro challenge?

 Thanks,
 Ara

		| | it's decent... the focus seems to be on the hand, not the lizard. The head of it is blurry. I'm more drawn to the lines in the hand than the lizard. |

		| | Yea, I'd possibly recommend having the lizard face the camera and have it on your fingertip or thumb. :-\ |

		| | Probably not. Do to being kind of small. A bit more in your face, then yes. |

		| | I agree with the others, in that the point of focus seems to be the hand. At 1/125 sec, I suspect the lizard moved at the point of releasing the shutter, due to the blurring of the head.
A tighter shot would have done much better, or having it on a fingertip for instance.

 Just my 0.02¢

Yeah, the little dude wouldn't stop moving. I'd try to compose the shot with my hand stretched out far enough away to focus, hold still and he'd already have moved. I should have brought a tripod for my hand, a tripod for my camera and a bottle of behave-all to squirt on the subject... =]

Well, he was singing Everybody was Kung-fu Fighting, and he did try to sell me insurance, but I wasn't sure.

I agree on all the topics about the focus. What a cute little guy!
