Took the family to the zoo yesterday. It was hot and most of the animals were hiding out, but I did get a few good ones. Comments/critiques welcome.

Good compositions with no excessive negative or 'empty' space, fairly good detail, good exposure and color, not bad sharpness. They turned out pretty good overall.

Excellent images. I love them all. I don't like what you have done with the borders and text. But your compositions are brilliant. Once again, I love those images.

Were all of these taken with the same lens? What lens(es) were these taken with? :o)

Just got back home!
Thanks for the comments.

I used my Canon 70-200mm f4/L on all of these and most of the others. It was 95+ on Saturday, so most of the animals were hiding out under bushes and in the shade.

Xion, can you tell me what you don't like about the borders and titles. Does anyone else not like this? I thought it helped to frame my subjects. I think it gives a little more professional look to them. Just curious.

Yeah, he was the only one nice enough to walk right up to me and pose for me! (: Must be a West African thing!!
