I'm preparing to take a beginning photography course at the local community college. I have to do this with a film camera, shucks! I know the price on film SLRs is dropping like a lead ballon, but what are some good ones. I'd kinda like to keep it under $300. Any ideas?

Try looking for a used Pentax K-1000. Quality mechanical camera, built like a tank, all manual controls.

I just recently sold my Canon A-1. It was a great camera in my opinion and I would recommend it. You can get em at a good price now also. Mine was mint with a couple of lenses and it went for $250 on ebay. |
