Hello everyone!
Just thought I'd ask for some critisism of a photo that I took not long ago just to see where it stands. Your help is most appreciated.

I did copy and paste, perhaps sloppily though. Tried again and voila: une voiture rouge!
I don't remember life before being a member here, but if you have no portfolio or an image in it, you can paste the url into the text box which appears when you click the hyperlink button.
PS: It's a beautiful automobile and a decent photo of it too. While the flash exposure is aedequate on the subject, a long image exposure appears to have blown out some small highlights on the car and in the background. I sometimes bracket my shots to have several variably exposured versions.

| Actually, this photo is only one of two out of 35 exposures that I took at a car show locally. Being very new to photography, I'm still learning. I've learned that you should use a tripod when taking night exposures because you just can't hold the camera still enough! Although the photo's not perfect in any sense of the imagination, I still think it's kind of neat looking. There will be another car show soon as they do two a year. I will definately be there for the next one and hope that that car is there again. I should also have my new camera then as well (Nikon D70)! |

Or make it clickable by checking the box to Automatically parse URLs when posting to a forum.

Hi again Dale ,
Hope you'll share your next photos.A good way to learn is to take a lot of photos and to visit this site !!!! People are fantastic here , as you I'm an amateur ,and it's nice to receive opinions of very good worldwide photographers . Please have a look at the results of past challenges , some photos are extraordinary !!!
