Dilemma, I have taken pictures for the current challenge on fine large format mode. When I go into the size portion of photoshop and select 640 pixels I am still way over my kb. How do I get my entry to meet the criteria.
Alternatively I can size the image and then save for the web. It does not tell me what my kb is. Will this work...
Panicked.........

If you save for web there is an option to optimize to a particular file size.

Also, when saving as jpeg, when you select the quality it shows the size of the file and download time. |

If you have Photoshop CS, make sure you choose Bicubic Sharper as the resampling method when scaling down the Image Size. It makes a difference in final image quality. |

Thanks guys. I had that panic that I used to get in school when I waited until the last min to study for an exam or write that term paper.
