		Greetings everybody!

This is my first post at DPChallenge. I must say, I stumbled across this website and simply love everything about it. You people are very good! I'm in no way a professional photographer, but I have been working more and more at getting better at photography. I'm working with a Nikon Coolpix 5700 - just two clicks below the DSeries - but that's the best that I can afford right now. I have been pleased with the camera, though I long for more flexibility and sensitivity.

Anyhow, below I have posted two images of a single green anole I caught last April. I would very much like to have critiques from the DPChallenge community. And please be overtly honest (although I'm sure that won't be a problem). I value all criticism, positive and negative.

Thanks very much for you time and effort! And I'm looking forward to your comments!

 - Janson.

I like the lizard looking at the ladybug.

However, the file size is rather large and will inhibit those on dial-up from viewing your nice images. Either just put the link in the forum or use a thumbnail that is clickable.

		He's a gorgeous colour.....love his eyes!

In the 2nd pic I would have loved to have seen his whole head (his snout) in focus....a little more depth of field maybe.

		Welcome to DPC!
I like the second image most. The eye detail and colour is great. I think I prefer it rotated by 90 degrees anti-clockwise.

		Yes!
I just think it works well in portrait at that rotation.
