I think you did a teriffic job. Night photos can be tricky, but you seem to have a talent for it. I like the reflections on the water in the first photo, and the purple/pink sky in the second. Very nice.

I just love the first one, but agree with the comments on the second - that it just isn't as interesting of a shot to work with. The first one is superb.

The right hand side feels a little empty. What if you tried cropping it a little tighter?

the first one is very nice, i like all the different colours. The second one is kinda drab, could use a different angle, more zoom, etc.. but the first one rocks ;o)

I like them both. If I'm right you used the second shot as trial of getting your setting right with the sunset and you had success.
Congrats, I have yet to test myself out doing these shots!

Very nice light reflections in the water. What shutter speed, aperture did you use ?
