Hi all! I was in Vermont for a couple of days and, in spite of all the fog and rain, I managed to get some nice photos. I'm really enjoying my new camera--playing with the manual settings, etc. My 125 mb card came in the day we left so I managed to take close to 250 shots. Of course, not that many came out.

I would love some feedback.

Check them out here.

Thanks!
Melissa

Very nice work here...really like the gate/fence shots as well as the foggy barn .

Melissa, I would love to see this collection - the beginning looks awesome. But even the thumbnails are loading very slwoly on my dial-up, so I will have to wait until I am on the DSL here. But it looks like you got some spectacular shots!

I was afraid of that. Maybe I'll make gifs for the thumbnails. That would make it load a bit faster.
Thanks for trying, anyway. When you get your fast connection, you will wonder why you didn't do it sooner. I use Cox cable for my internet. Very fast (most of the time--occasionally eBay can take awhile).

Good luck in this week's challenges!

I will take a look later - I have DSL available to me, but not at my PC right now. I rotate and use the DSL when I can. Let us know if you change them to GIF's, too, in the meantime! Thanks, and good luck to you, too!

I went ahead and changed the thumbnails to gifs. That is how I usually work but I was too lazy earlier. :-D

My goodness, Melissa - great stuff! The farm house in the distance is great with the portion of the fence in the forefront. Beautiful flowers. I like them all and they are beautifully done. Congrats on a great collection.
