Now that I have your attention, I am BEGGING you all to take a look at some of my new pictures in my portfolio. Some of them are out-takes from some of the past challenges. Any critique will be appreciated (even destructive ones.:)

An out-take to the June Open Challenge. Same lady in my second placer entry.

Same session as my Misty Morning picture, a second placer in the Silhouette Challenge.

Other pictures:

Pictures taken at Luang Prabang, Laos during my recent trip.

Thanks,
Manny

Pathway To Nirvana is awesome, Manny. Completely different from anything you've posted here before. Love it.

Your outakes from the challenges are great, of course - but you made the right decisions in entering the ones that you did.

in Morning Ritual a little fill-lighting would be nice to get a bit more detail out of those shadows. You could try dodging the faces of the monks a little...not sure if you'd get enough detail though. otherwise in another fabulous Librodo creation.

Well done, my friend - you never cease to amaze me.

Pedro

ps edit: hurry up and get some prints up would you? you can start with Pathway To Nirvana. I promise to buy it if you do ;)

I love the monk feet. Beautiful detail. Not keen on such heavy black border.

My thoughts exactly. Excellent work, as usual.

What a wonderful Sunday morning gift!! Your ability to reveal the soul is amazing. Any time you want to share some of your secrets, I am listening. I added comments to some of your pictures, and will come around to the rest after I think about them a little more.

Fabulous, as usual. People are definitely your thing. Any of these shots would be suitable for National Geographic, or a top 30 finish in any given challenge. Keep it up!

BTW- everybody be sure to browse through librodo's portfolio. The ribbon winners are just another average day for this guy. ;-)

You are one of the gifted. You are a photographer with a built in art director who choses the best image under most circumstances. Your work is simply awesome. I always enjoy looking at your port. Your new images are a great addition.

I couldn't begin to critique these Manuel, far too good for me to pass judgement. Great portfolio of images.

Manny, my only critique is that there aren't more on this page for me to look at...! These are just really sweet. Morning Mist and Pathway to Nirvana are definitely my two personal favorites. I'm far from being a person who could offer technical advice/criticism - but I will say that I was moved by these images. Very delicate, quiet and strong.
