Here are a couple of shots I took with my new EF 85mm f/1.8 using the ST-E2 mounted to the flash bracket with the 550EX on a tripod to the left of the camera and the 420EX on a tripod to the right of the camera.
I never knew the 85 f/1.8 was so sharp or that it had such an incredibly shallow DOF at this level.
Guess its time to start working harder on the lighting setups.

Why?? Those portraits are just SO cute and the lighting is really complimentary to your subject. Good job! |

:) ... and here it is! Along with my new kenko extension tubes. I'm on this macro challenge like Jacko on bugs, or Heida with the sky, or JJ with his neighbor, or kiwiness with ... well ... everything, or Sonifo with her kids, or dsidwell with landscapes, or moodville with animals, ...

OOOOOH, That look reminds me of my Nikkor 105 f1.8 that I used to have back in my film days. Thanks for posting those.

congrats! it's a great little lens. I just got the coupler for it use the 50mm to increase the mag on my sibma 105mm, Just in time for the macro iv challenge!
