Has any one gone out and seen the moon lately. It is bright orange and it has been for the past month.
(The color in this picture was not edited at all) This is a picture I took fourth of July weekend and when I looked up today, though the moon was a crecent, it is the same color. Does any one know why it looks this way?

If you are asking about forest fires - unfortunately, yes. Some of the best sunset/ moonrise shots arond here (California) are often taken when a long-burning fire puts a lot of particulates into the lower atmosphere.
