Best image i have seen for some time. Shame it's got text etc all over it.

Edit: Actually it will be very interesting to start a critique thread once a week / once a day where we all critique and score a photograph picked from outside DPC as if it was in an open best of month challenge.
I am sure the comments wil be different as they are here, and perhaps start a decent debate (argument )
;)
My comment would be basicly that i love it, I really like the way the lady is covering her face. I like the fact that it's not perfectly square which gives it a raw snapshot type feel to it.
The fact that you can see the photographer and the subject in this scene just makes it amazing in my eyes, So much going on and lots to look at. The man riding the bike is even having a look and not watching where he is going. Yet with so much going on the woman's presence is so powerful that your drawn to her.
Very raw and very good. Score: 10

It has to be one of the best street shots i've seen. I like the unusual humor in it, I don't think it would have had an imapct if the photographer wasn't visible, the distracted biker adds another perspective to the photo. I'm just waiting for the lady to stand up and swing that purse at the photographer's head :P
Score: Definitely a 10 |
