i give it a 5 -- good idea, like the lighting, not sure but it is just missing something for me--good job sorry you did not make it

Well then I just saved myself from another mediocre score ;) Miss my update button though!
I should just stick to lighthouses & stop drivin myself nuts.

hey, this is just one 5! if it wasn't for dpc, i'd still be taking pictures of my dogs all the time... |

I agree with ToolCool, but I don't agree with limiting yourself to lighthouses.
I would add that a soft ray of light across the paper and tighter crop would give the scene more 'pop' and maybe highlight the words more.

Thanks for the comments guys. I'm just lookin at what the stats in my portfolio say.
Out of 13 challenges, the top 6 scores are outsidenatural light shots....5 of em lighthouse related. The 4 inside shots I have entered as challenges landed in 7, 10, 12 & 13th places. Only 1 made it above a 5.
Maybe "set up shots" with indoor lighting just aren't my thing...lol
Also, lighthouses is what I "do". Sticking to them & improving them more isn't such a bad thing.
I'll probly keep dabblin just cuz it irks me that I stink at it ;)
