Have just returned from a week on the Norfolk Broads and am a little dissapointed in the results. I have some good pics but taking pictures from a moving boat whilst sailing it is not as easy as I thought. Anyway, am still trawling through 1600 pics and thought this one was funny.
The Great Crested Grebe will normally catch fish about 2", this must have been 7-8" long! I saw him as he surfaced with his catch toward the back of the boat and managed to get a couple of pics whilst I turned the boat around, by the time I got closer to him he had lost his catch. I can imagine him going back to his partner explaining just how big the fish that got away was lol.
