I just got a humungous pat on the back by graphicfunk for my color studio portrait challenge submission.
I was having a pretty rough two days (mostly from idiots at work), but this just perked me right up!
It's crazy what a little positive reinforcement can do. Woohoo!

I must say, I really enjoy this photograph! In my opinion it should have received a ribbon. I find myself looking at it over and over again. Great job!

Wow! Can't get a much more glowing review than that, and it's certainly well-deserved. Comments like those would make anyone's day. Nice job Beagle!
I'm curious... I've seen many Critique Club comments on very recent recent entries. When I first started here back in February, I naively checked the box requesting a critique on every entry. After my first few, I read about how backed-up the club was and stopped checking the box to avoid adding to the pile. Well, here we are approaching mid-July, and I have yet to receive a single critique on those first few entries. It's really not that big a deal since the comments form a pretty good group critique, but is this normal or did I somehow un-request a critique on those shots? |

The list of images waiting in the queue is purged and started anew when the next challenge ends. In other words, the critique club has a week to get to as many as they can before they start a new list from the newly ended challenge.
