You both might want to check out

You can build your own internet radio station on this web site. I started to check it out one time and will probably go back and do it. The only real big hangup is the rules on how many songs by the same artist or from the same album you can play during a given time frame. Shouldn't be a problem for me, I have about 1,000 CD's to pick my music from. Not sure what they say if it's your own music though.

May be a good way for you to get your music out there dirtkahuna. And you can mix to your heart's desire, melismatica and tell all your friends where to listen. Let me know if you guys do make your own stations so aI can check them out.

My favorite radio station there is "cj's radio olio", a strange and wide reaching selection of music from all decades, commercials, public service announcements and comedy routines. Definitly not everyone's cup of tea.

NPR: All Songs Considered (I think this is actually just for the music for the program All Things Considered, not for all of NPR, but I could be wrong about that).

CNet has bought out the assets of MP3.COM, and has a "beta" version (think) of the new service running ... reachable through this link to //music.download.com
