Hello,

I was going to enter this in the words contest, but I can't get it below 150k without it being too little for my liking therefore I figured I'd be content with sitting here and showing it off, and getting a critique on this.

The only mistake I regret is I faced the camera towards the sun, what else is wrong with it?

If you are going to submit it you should remove the link to it so as to retain anonymity.

Since I've created this thread I'll leave the image open to critiquing, and I will take place in the next competition.

Ithink this is a really creative photo and I would have voted it high if you had entered it in the challenge. I only have two problems with this photo besides (as you pointed out) having it face the sun, is two things. One is that I think your reflection is above the middle p, and its a bit noisy. Besides these nit pics, I think its a great picture and it would have done well.

To be honest, I have a 5 inch. tripod and was behind it laying on my stomach.. that reflection isn't of me, but I for the life of see it, but can't imagine what it was.. maybe that camera itself?

Thanks much digital grizzly. Your comments make me want to be even more creative next time. :)

Hey AndrewWest,
I don't want to be mean, but that particular photo wouldn't get any marks from me. Sorry! Poor focus is mainly the problem, but it might be your camera...on a personal note I'm not into the composition. C'est la vie. Just take a look at the crap I've entered, you may want to ignore my posts ;-)
Oh yeah, why the ground? Wondering what you thought the pavement brought to the photo.

GoldBerry,

That's what critiquing is about. You get the good you get the bad. Knowing I don't have a top of the line camera yet, I know that not everyone is going to soak up my creations and worship them. :) I am glad that people are honest with me about it. You're right though, it is the camera and the focus. Zoom sucks on this piece of hankey and so I kept it in micro mode, knowing that it would be pretty dumb to that seeing as I was close, but it didn't have anything minor I needed to pick up exactly.

The ground was in the picture for difference. I'm new at this and I would like to pretend that I meant for the can to be there to bring out some kindof of articulatiive brilliance to the photo, but if I said that then I'd be lying through my keyboard. I did it, because I didn't know where to put it...

Thanks for your comments. I don't disagree nor agree with any exact part, but I do know that my photography needs a lot of work, and only practicing and hearing what's wrong with it will help me.

Thanks again!

I was just thinking. Maybe that's why it burns a little bit to drunk pepsi? or is that my imagination lol

That's great also. I think the inverted colors for them are crazy ideas. Very cool.

Coke's just as bad. After using a can to clean my toilet, well you get the idea.
