Hubby and I are back from visiting the Highlands, NC area. I certainly learned a lot on the trip - namely how darn useful a tripod truly is. Here's some pics from our trip...

I would love to hear what ya'll think of these and your comments WILL BE appreciated. ;-D

Hello?

Hi :) Your photos are lovely! I loved bridal veil falls, I have some old photos of my friend standing under it with an umbrella, such a neat little place to pull off the side of the road. I also loved dry falls, but I hated the walk back up from it (whew!). I'm by no means a professional, but the only critique I could give you is that some of the shots look a little underexposed, they arent as vibrant and bright as most photos. Maybe it was rainy and overcast while you were there? I saw you had a few photos of people sliding down rocks, I took this to be sliding rock. I have a included a few photos I took at sliding rock last month with my twin boys. Hope you had a good time in the "Land of Waterfalls" :o)

Cheers,
Dana

Hello !
Thank you for sharing those nice photos . I prefer the ones without people but it's just my opinion . Have you edited all of them ?
WhtH2Ofalls seems a little bit "dark" , it's an excellent shot !
I feel envy of your trip , where I live in Spain I have no waterfalls near.
Regards ,
Carmen

Thank you for the comments :-D I was beginning to think that my pics sucked so bad that no one wanted to comment... Ha Ha

Yes, the 'rock sliders' were photographed at Sliding Rock - what a hilarious place to watch people. And yes, the weather was funny. It would be bright and sunny one minute than we'd be in the middle of a rain storm - glad I thought to bring towels and plastic bags!

As for the darkness or underexposure, that's just a preference of mine - I like 'em on the moodier side.
