Anyone have this camera? I am thinking of buying this camera or a Canon A75. How is it at full telephoto and how is the macro. Thanks in advance.

If I had to do it again I would get the Canon Powershot S1 IS Digital Camera//www.buydig.com/shop/product.aspx?sku=CNPSS1
Looks like a lite more than you wnat to spend, but you get what you pay for...

| if you are planning on getting the s3000, spend a tiny bit more and get the s5000 it is a much more well rounded camera, and although it has its share of drawbacks, it is pretty good for the price. my friend bought one for a trip to costa rica. a downside is that it uses Xd memory cards, which don't come any larger than 512mb. |
