Hi yah
I'm in Brisbane/Australia. The time for closure on challenges here is the following day at 2pm. So in other words, every Monday in Australia (East Coast) at 2pm is when the deadline for competition enteries closes. I'm not precisely sure what time difference it is between Oz and NZ is (think 3 hrs) so your deadline would prolly be 9am Mondays. But don't quote me...lol.
Hope this helps a bit.....

What is EDT??
e.g. Eastern states of Aus is "AEST"
Australia-Sydney is GMT+10
Australia-Perth is GMT+8
So what GMT is EDT?

Who cares? Look at the time displayed at the bottom of the page and add/subtract from where you are. Midnight according to the time displayed is the deadline (i.e. in about 29 minutes from now).
EDT is Eastern Daylight Time -- In the USA most places advance their clocks by one hour between April and October ... a holdover from when the extra evening hours were needed to reap the wheat and corn harvests, but now mainly of benefit to fans of night baseball. |

EST is UTC-0500
EDT is UTC-0400
In any case, it's always safest to use the time at the bottom of the pages on this site.

I care. I was merely enquiring about time zones, not questioning the perceived authority of this website. |

I'm sorry ... I was rushing to submit a photo and too lazy to do the math like Terry did. I just meant that as far as meeting tonight's deadline, it wasn't so important to know the time zone difference as to know that the deadline was in less than a half hour ... less-than-well put on my part I guess ... |

Also remember that some places don't have daylight saving time and the server observes it. |

From the looks of the early returns I shouldn't have bothered, and now I have sore knees too ... :)
I do think UT is what they now call GMT. |
