Very interesting, but the reviewer has a good point: no stabilization and limited iso is a recipe for blurred images.
For less money you can buy a good telescope and an adapter for your DSLR. I'll bet the maker will add IS in the near future!
Good points: it is compact and FAST. But $2000USD will buy a lot of great accessories for your existing camera! |

Well, it does have a video out. Might make a spiffy webcam.

I think its more of a spotting scope than a camera. In fact, the review lists it as Kowa Prominar TD-1 digital spotting scope. Very handy for birdwatchers who want to catch "quick and dirty" captures in the field for indentification and such. There is a market for this kind of instrument, just not to make high quality shots. It's an alternative to setting up your camera on a spotting scope through an adapter.
