Exactly. I believe there is a DPL bias and that it would be a good idea to address it so that participants are not discouraged from coming back to DPL7! |

| I just had a good example of what should not be allowed on DPC - someone changed their vote by 5. I don't know if it was from 10 to 5 or 6 to 1, all I know is that this is not normal voting and should be discarded from the score. The voter should be warned and if they do it again DQ'd from DPC. If nothing is done fewer people will want to participate in challenges, myself included. |

Margaret do you use the DPC App? You can actually see votes distribution. I found out about it recently. I absolutely love it.
And overall I just think everyone should take some deep breaths and chill. Cheers! |

I can't use it, too small on the Iphone and I don't have an Ipad. |

| OK, I installed it but I won't vote on it. I can now see who commented on my images in voting stage but I cannot see the distribution, how do I display it? |

It's a valid thing. I have accidentally hit a button, and have it register a vote that I didn't mean. It usually ends up giving a 10, which I rarely give.
Mistakes can happen. |

Within the last few months, I actually had to apologize to someone after roll-over because I had intended a 10 and got put a 0 instead because I was using the numbers pad on my PC keyboard. I didn't notice the error until after roll-over and I was horrified. Had I noticed, I would have changed it, even at the last second. And had the entrant been watching every vote come in, she would have seen that someone changed a score from a 0 to a 10. Now this is the opposite of what distresses folks, but I'm with Wendy. Mistakes happen.
Personally, the public accusations of voter bias in discussion threads would be more likely to turn me off on the site than anything else.

DPL season 6 playoffs round 2 is completed (pending possible DQ...).
The following teams won the round and will compete for the Gold/Silver medals:
IMAGIO I  vs.  The Click Clique
The following teams will compete for the Bronze medal:
PIXELATED  vs.  About the Light
Please be aware that the first challenge for the playoffs round 3 will be up for voting in less than a week time.

OK, I was thinking about this. If you look at the number entries per challenge there has not been no significant increase for non DPL challenges. If DPC is to continue with decent number of entries it needs DPL. What about doing a survey of all actual and potential DPL participants on what frequency they would like? I think that might be better than making any guesses.
