It's nice to be back. I had 8 entries since 2015, but nothing like new (old) gear to get one back into it. I recently picked up a Nikkor 200mm f4 which I plan on using for astrophotography (to complement the longer focal length telescopes), and while I was at it, I also got a Nikkor 35-70mm f3.5 macro. Both are spectacular.

I am back.

Registered: Sep. 18th 2002 !!! Ough, I feel old now.

Got some new entries in already. Just trying out my new camera, a Sony A6700 with 18-135 mm lens.
My first digital camera was also a Sony, a DSC-F707, and I first joined DPC after I bought that one. I still have it and it still works. Very special for infrared.
After that I owned two Nikon DSLR's and a Nikon J5 small mirrorless camera. Still have the D7000 and J5.

A now back to Sony. So far I love it. Very nice clean and razorsharp images.

Call him Bill. He's my best friend since HS. Lives in Palo Alto, comes out here every spring or fall and we wander for a week. He was with me on the recent Maine trip. It's hard to talk him into entering though. A real pity :-) Maybe you should drop him a note and tell him how I weep monthly when I don't see him in the free study :-)
